How does KICO – Risk Assessment work?

We provide you with the device on a loan basis. It uses sensors to measure various health risks and gives you personalized recommendations for improving your workplace. Optionally, the Ergo Coach module can also help you identify and change unhealthy behavior patterns.

What does KICO – Risk Assessment do?

KICO – Risk Assessment provides an automated assessment of working conditions as a basis for risk assessment for computer / desk workstations . The assessment is divided into different sections:

Chapter 1: External influences

  • Examination of environmental conditions such as noise and lighting conditions
  • Measurements and analyses to optimize the working environment

Chapter 2 & 3: Ergonomic settings

  • Instructions for ergonomic adjustment of chair, desk, monitor, and keyboard
  • Individual recommendations for improving posture and working methods

Chapter 4: Movement at workplace and during working hours

  • Promotion of movement and regular breaks
  • Tips and exercises to avoid lack of movement and repetitive physical strain

Effectiveness check of the identified behavior

  • Regular review of the implementation of the proposed measures
  • Feedback on the effectiveness and adjustment of the recommendations if necessary

Derivation of measures/recommendations in a results report

  • Creation of a comprehensive results report with concrete measures and recommendations
  • Basis for further measures to improve working conditions by experts

Receipt of the device

You will receive the device with KICO – Risk Assessment by mail. The device is compact and easy to use./p>

Setup

A video guides you through the first steps and shows you how to place the device on your desk and activate it.

Start of assessment

Once set up, the interactive assessment of working conditions begins with a sensor-based risk assessment. Over 12 hours (multiple days) lighting conditions, noise levels, temperature, air quality, and ergonomic settings are analyzed to identify potential health risks.

Individual recommendations

Based on the measurements, you will receive immediate, individual recommendations for improving your workplace. These include adjustments to your chair, desk, screen, and other work equipment.

Effectiveness check

After you have implemented the suggested occupational safety measures, another sensor-based risk assessment is carried out over 12 working hours. This allows you to check whether the measures have been effective.

Results report

Once the analysis is complete, a comprehensive results report is generated. Please download the results report using the QR code and send it to the predefined email address. The report serves as a basis for further measures to improve your work environment.
