We provide you with the device on a loan basis. It uses sensors to measure various health risks and gives you personalized recommendations for improving your workplace. Optionally, the Ergo Coach module can also help you identify and change unhealthy behavior patterns.
KICO – Risk Assessment provides an automated assessment of working conditions as a basis for risk assessment for computer / desk workstations . The assessment is divided into different sections:

Start of assessment
Once set up, the interactive assessment of working conditions begins with a sensor-based risk assessment. Over 12 hours (multiple days) lighting conditions, noise levels, temperature, air quality, and ergonomic settings are analyzed to identify potential health risks.
Individual recommendations
Based on the measurements, you will receive immediate, individual recommendations for improving your workplace. These include adjustments to your chair, desk, screen, and other work equipment.
Effectiveness check
After you have implemented the suggested occupational safety measures, another sensor-based risk assessment is carried out over 12 working hours. This allows you to check whether the measures have been effective.
Results report
Once the analysis is complete, a comprehensive results report is generated. Please download the results report using the QR code and send it to the predefined email address. The report serves as a basis for further measures to improve your work environment.
KICO – Risk Assessment is a closed system. Its data security has been tested and certified. As a participant, you have full control over your personal data.

It is not possible to use KICO – Risk Assessment in different locations (mobile workplace and office) during the same measurement period. Only one workplace is assessed at a time.
KICO – Risk Assessment measures screen time and switches the device to standby mode as soon as the sensors detect that no one is in front of it. The device wakes up again as soon as someone is detected by the infrared sensors. The assessment period is set at 14 days to accommodate users who do not spend 100% of their time at the same workstation.
KICO – Risk Assessment measures for twelve hours over several working days, even with possible interruptions.
No, KICO – Risk Assessment is always personal and intended for one workplace. It is sent back to Deep Care after the assessment is completed.
The infrared sensor detects a thermal image that, thanks to the built-in ergonomic AI, relates to the person directly in front of it. The surroundings/furnishings are not detected.
The data is only stored offline on the device for the two-week period required to create the risk assessment document. Once the results report has been sent, the data is deleted.

No, the results report is sent via a QR code. The device only requires a power source via USB or power adapter to operate.
External access is not possible; the only data source that KICO – Risk Assessment generates is the results report. This is sent by the employee.
